Greetings!
Today I signed a new painting, "Arctic Bear."
"Arctic Bear" 11 x 15
Original Watercolor on 300 lb. Arches cold pressed paper.
Many of you in the Albany area are familiar with the Arctic Bear. This
was once a wildly popular drive in located on the corner of Slappey and
Ogelthorpe. It was a very fun painting to do and personally my first night
scene. Don't you think the indigo night sky sets the background for the neon
sign? This just had to be a night painting!
I'll be shipping the original to Colson Fine Art Printing early next week where
11 x 15 lithographs will be made. I should have the lithographs back by mid to
late September. The edition size is 1,000 with the first 100 prints being Artist
Proofs. Artist Proofs are priced at $50.00 and limited edition prints 101 -
1,000 are $40.00. Lithographs may be purchased directly from my website or from
Woods Gallery in Albany. The original painting is also for sale.
My hope is that this piece of art will make many smile!
